After breakfast, depart from Dar es Salaam and begin your scenic journey towards Mikumi National Park, travelling through the beautiful landscapes of Morogoro and Southern Tanzania.
Upon arrival in Mikumi, check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch before heading out for your first game drive.
Spend the afternoon exploring the park’s open plains, woodlands, and wildlife-rich areas. Keep your eyes open for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest, antelopes, hippos, and, with good fortune, lions and other predators.
As the sun begins to set over the savannah, enjoy the changing colours of the African landscape before returning to your lodge for dinner, relaxation, and overnight.

Today is dedicated entirely to exploring Mikumi National Park.
After breakfast, set out with your experienced safari guide for a full-day game drive. With plenty of time to explore different areas of the park, you will have greater opportunities to discover its diverse wildlife and beautiful landscapes.
Mikumi is known for its impressive variety of wildlife. During the day, you may encounter large herds of elephants and buffaloes, giraffes browsing among the trees, zebras and wildebeest moving across the plains, as well as various antelope species.
The park is also home to predators such as lions, making every game drive an exciting opportunity for unforgettable wildlife encounters.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African wilderness before continuing your afternoon exploration.
Later in the day, return to your lodge for dinner, relaxation, and overnight.

Begin your day with an early sunrise safari experience, capturing the most active wildlife hours and the soft morning light across the plains.
After the drive, return to the lodge for breakfast and check-out before departing back to Dar es Salaam.
