Upon arrival at Julius Nyerere International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional safari representative. Your guide will assist you with your luggage and ensure a smooth and comfortable transfer to your hotel.
Dar es Salaam is Tanzania’s largest city and an important gateway to the country’s southern safari circuit. After check-in, the rest of the day is free to relax and recover from your journey.

After breakfast, depart from Dar es Salaam and drive approximately six hours to Mikumi National Park, one of Tanzania’s most accessible and rewarding wildlife destinations.
Mikumi is Tanzania’s fourth-largest national park and is known for its expansive grasslands and abundant wildlife. Its open horizons often remind visitors of the famous Serengeti plains, while its convenient location makes it an excellent choice for exploring Southern Tanzania.
During your game drives, you can expect to encounter a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, hippos, and lions. The park is also home to numerous bird species, making it an enjoyable destination for wildlife and nature enthusiasts alike.
Over the two days, enjoy game drives through different areas of the park, taking in the spectacular scenery and searching for wildlife in its natural habitat.

Into the Wild – Ruaha National Park
After breakfast, continue your journey to Ruaha National Park, one of Tanzania’s most spectacular and remote wilderness destinations.
Ruaha is renowned for its dramatic landscapes, enormous elephant populations, ancient baobab trees, and the Great Ruaha River, which provides an important source of water for wildlife.
The park is also a paradise for bird lovers, with more than 570 recorded bird species. During your game drives, keep your eyes open for elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, crocodiles, elands, sable antelopes, jackals, and the highly sought-after African wild dog.
Ruaha’s relatively low visitor numbers create an intimate and peaceful safari atmosphere, allowing you to experience the African wilderness without the crowds often found in more popular safari destinations.

After breakfast, enjoy your final moments in the beautiful Ruaha wilderness before transferring to the local airstrip for your scheduled flight to Dar es Salaam.
Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in and overnight. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax after your safari journey.

Each day, after a delicious breakfast at your hotel, enjoy a Full-day relaxation at your hotel room, pool, or beach, you will have the option to participate in different hotel or sea sports arranged by hotels or the community, then back to your hotel for overnight.
